Accessibility

Markero aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA across the public site and the chat application. This is a self-assessment; we have not completed an independent accessibility audit, and we do not claim full conformance.

What we have done

• Semantic HTML for navigation, headings, forms, lists and tables.
• Visible keyboard focus styles and keyboard-operable controls.
• Labels for form fields and accessible names for icon-only buttons.
• Contrast targets for body text, metadata and controls.
• Reduced-motion support and no decorative autoplay.
• Responsive layouts with touch targets sized for phones.
• Status messages and form errors that can be announced by assistive technology.

Known limitations

• The chat application is a complex, real-time interface; screen-reader testing is still limited.
• The GIF search panel depends on a third-party service and may not meet the same standard as the rest of the app.
• The call interface has not been fully tested with every screen reader and browser combination.
• Some older public pages may not have been individually audited.
• We have not completed an independent accessibility audit or an EN 301 549 conformance assessment.

Standards

We use WCAG 2.2 AA as the working target and EN 301 549 as the reference standard for European accessibility requirements. This statement describes our current position, not a certification.

Report a barrier

If a page or feature is difficult to use with a keyboard, screen reader, magnification or another assistive technology, email [email protected] with the subject Accessibility.

Include the page or feature, the device and browser, the assistive technology you use, and what happened. We will use the report to reproduce the issue and improve the interface.
