All messages, photos, voice messages and files are encrypted with OpenPGP (Curve25519) in your browser before transmission. The server never has access to plaintext content.

TOTP 2FA is optional and strongly recommended. You can skip it at signup and enable it later in settings. TOTP protects account sign-in; it does not encrypt or unlock your private key. The private key is protected by a client-only key-wrap secret, and your password protects that secret.

We store encrypted ciphertext and encrypted key material, not plaintext messages, passwords or private keys. We cannot read messages, view photos, listen to voice messages or access files at rest. The threat model explains the limits, including a malicious server or compromised device.

Clearnet session records store the IP address and user agent; onion sessions store “tor” instead of an IP. Rate-limit counters use keyed hashes, and application request logs are minimized to method, status, size and duration. We do not use them for advertising or profiling.

View all active sessions and revoke any device from the settings panel. Sessions expire after 3 days of inactivity, with a 7-day absolute limit.

Send encrypted one-on-one messages or create groups with multiple members. Group messages are encrypted individually for each member.

Invite-only, end-to-end encrypted broadcast channels. Owners and admins post announcements, followers read and receive push notifications, and nobody can find the channel without an invite link. Invite links expire after 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. Free channels support up to 50 subscribers and 250 MB of channel storage; Premium removes the member cap, raises storage to 1 GB and allows up to 5 channels.

Share photos, PDFs, documents and other files up to 10 MB — or up to 100 MB with Premium. Free accounts get 500 MB of storage, Premium 1 GB. Files are compacted in your browser before encryption, so photos and documents take less space. Every file is encrypted before upload, stored under an opaque name, and decrypted only on the recipient's device.
